NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship Finishes Second Day of Tournament Play

The second day of play has ended in the 2007 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Women's Soccer Championship at Darton College, where the top eight nationally ranked, two-year college women's soccer teams are vying for the national title.
Today's scores are:
- Monroe Community College (Rochester, N.Y.) defeated Navarro College (Corsicana, Texas) 4-0.
Those scoring goals were Victoria Begy, No. 6; Brianna Diaz, No. 3; Maura Martin, No. 4; and Aveann Douglas, No. 10. - Polk Community College (Winter Haven, Fla.) defeated Schoolcraft College (Livonia, Mich.) 3-2.
Goals were scored by Polk players Kim Newsom, No. 8; Kerri Ann Brown, No. 14; and Danielle Mayer, No. 13.
Goals were scored by Schoolcraft players Jessica Austin, No. 17, and Gloria Soyad, No. 4. - CCBC-Catonsville (Catonsville, Md.) defeated Pima Community College (Tucson, Ariz.) 2-0.
Both goals were scored by Shaneka Gordon, No. 7. - Iowa Western Community College (Council Bluffs, Iowa) defeated Laramie County Community College (Cheyenne, Wyo.) 3-1
Goals were scored by Iowa Western players Courtney Pearcy, No. 26; Danielle Blevins, No. 4; and Marene Gomez, No. 12.
A goal was scored by Laramie player Ayla Fowler, No. 4.
